Columnist for Causeur, he is the author of Vivre en ville (Cerf, 2024), distinguished by the Academy Prize of the French Academy, and of Triompher en festins, a history of France in twenty meals (Perrin, 2026), which traces the history of power at the table, from the coronation of Saint Louis to the diplomatic dinners of Talleyrand.
